The USA has abundant natural resources including oil and natural gas, but being the world´s biggest energy user it imports a large quantity of petroleum products. The country is the largest and most technologically advanced economy in the world. Cotton, grains and fruit are the main agricultural products and manufacturing includes motor vehicles, aerospace, steel, electronics and chemicals. Tourism is a major foreign currency earner with around forty five million visitors a year. Service industries include banking and finance.
